During the quarantine of 2020, I fell in love with woodworking and craft projects. It definitely helped that my husband and I moved into a new house that inspired me to get started in the DIY world. Here you'll find indoor & outdoor furniture wood projects, home decor arts & crafts as well as suggestions on best project plans and how to pimp out your beginner's weekend workshop.

That is what I'm calling my garage shop, Amy B's Weekend Workshop. During the week, I still work on my Change N Focus mission to empower others to live their best lives by exploring the great outdoors and traveling the world. But my weekends are now filling up with DIY projects to make our new house a home.

DIY Wood Furniture Projects
My very first wood project was pretty ambitious! I found free plans on Pinterest for Modern Adirondack Chairs and borrowed tools from a friend. It turned out the my skill level in my head was fairly accurate. I found that outdoor furniture is ridiculously expensive, so I thought why not give my skills a try.
